WHO ARE WE?

We are a multi-disciplinary collective of women undertaking the 4CITIES Master Program (2019-2021). As part of our Masters, we will be living in many different European cities (Brussels, Vienna, Copenhagen, Madrid among others…) so we decided to create urban femina as an exploratory space to collectively reflect on gender, sexuality and identity in public spaces. Hailing from Argentina, France, New Zealand, Mexico, Germany, Switzerland, South Africa and the United States, we share a passion for all things urban. Through our different professional backgrounds - architecture, geography, social sciences and urban politics - and life experiences we are working to develop a unique gender perspective, and we invite you to join us on this journey!
