PRAXIS

Our projects seek an impact in our daily lives in terms of change. We want to DO! things in order to achieve a more caring city. We believe this can happen through the ‘praxis’. While mixing different fields such as art, geography, social science and environmental studies, we take our bodies outside the classroom to activate people and public spaces. Our aim is to open spaces for artistic expression, place-making, and co-learning that bring a possibility to explore and apply the knowledge generated through academic inquiry.These activations are carried out with different methodologies of placemaking, such as walks, workshops, tactical urbanism, art, and more.

So far, we have worked together with Urban Foxes, a multi-disciplinary placemaking collective based in Brussels, to co-develop a feminist urban walk in Anderlecht, Brusseleir neighborhood located beside the South station (Activation of Grand Opening/ Ouvrons la Porte vers un nouveau parc in Anderlecht) 

In Vienna, we talked with more than 30 students of different disciplines to co-create our feminist reading circles. Now, we are looking forward to collaborating with more local initiatives in Copenhagen and more other cities where we are currently and temporarily based.
